About Us
Our Joint Commission accredited Laboratory processes more than 1.2 million tests from over 280,000 orders annually, coordinating the distribution of test results to physician offices. Courier service is provided Monday through Friday to the phlebotomy stations and area physician offices for specimen pick-up and report delivery.
We provide the majority of analytical services needed, although some procedures may be sent to one of several reference laboratories or other speciality labs as needed or requested.
We offer laboratory services in several locations to best serve our patients. These locations include the main Hospital, Professional Medical Building, OMH Specialty Center, and the OMH Montmorency Medical Clinic.

The laboratory is staffed by of a Pathologist/Medical Director, Laboratory Director, registered Medical Technologists, phlebotomists, specimen processors, and a receptionist.
Main Locations
The following labs are located on the OMH campus in Gaylord:
Main Lab — Located on the first floor of OMH. Patients must first register at the Registration Desk/Switchboard in the Main Hospital Lobby before coming in to Lab.
Hours – Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays: 8 a.m. - 12 noon*
*Only for patients unable to come in during the week. There is limited staffing on-site on Saturdays.
Professional Medical Building Lab — Conveniently located on the first floor of the PMB, just a short distance from the offices of OMH Medical Group physicians.
Hours – Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Other Locations
OMH Specialty Center — Located at 1320 E. M-32 in Gaylord, the OMH Speciality Center provides laboratory services Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
OMH Montmorency Medical Clinic — Located at 3040 Bourn Street in Lewiston, the OMH Montmorency Medical Clinic provides laboratory services Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
OMH Oncology & Infusion Therapy Clinic — Located at 701 N. Otsego Avenue in Gaylord, the OMH Oncology & Infusion Therapy Clinic provides laboratory services for patients of the clinic Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. This clinic is NOT open to the general public.
