Our Certified Wound/Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) provides wound, ostomy, and continence care to inpatients, outpatients and McReynolds Hallresidents. Includes prevention and management of pressure ulcers, venous or arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers, non-healing surgical, and trauma wounds.
Our CWOCN provides additional services to facilities outside of OMH through contractual services, such as home care, hospice, and long term care. The inpatient and McReynolds Hall nursing staffs follow the CWOCN’s and therapists treatment plan as outlined in the patient’s progress and rehabilitation notes in order to maintain a consistent standard of care.
